EuroMillions Jackpot Eludes Players The EuroMillions jackpot eluded players for the sixth time in a row last Friday 10 June, and regular readers will know exactly what that means – another rollover and an even bigger jackpot to play for on Tuesday. The estimated jackpot for Tuesday 14 June is around €76 million (that’s around £67 million for UK participants) so players will be hoping to match the seven numbers that will enable them to land that prize and start enjoying the EuroMillionaire lifestyle this summer. - (13/6/11)
Multi-Rollover for Friday EuroMillions The EuroMillions jackpot just can’t seem to stop rolling over lately, but players around the world will certainly be hoping to stop it in its tracks this Friday 10 June. The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 7 June were 06, 25, 36, 38 and 40, and the two Lucky Star numbers were 04 and 10. No player matched all of those numbers, so the jackpot this Friday will be worth a staggering €68 million (around £60 million), and anyone who buys even a single ticket for the game has a chance of winning it! - (9/6/11)

The history of Euro Millions began in 1994. Originally, the idea had been to launch this new Euro Lottery at around the same time as a single European currency, but as often happens, bureaucracy, politics and other miscellaneous factors meant that the plan was delayed a number of times before coming to fruition some ten years later.
The first Euro Millions lottery draw took place on Friday 13th February, 2004. It was originally presented by three major lottery organisers: Camelot in the United Kingdom who run the UK National Lottery, Francaise des Jeux in France and the Loterias y Apuestas des Estad in Spain. The first jackpot was worth 15 million Euros. The highest has been over 183,000,000 euros, which was won by three people. The largest single winner was Delores McNamara who won €115.6 million ($139,000,000 or £77,000,000).
