The object of the game is to choose which side, the Player, Tie or the Banker, will finish closest to nine when all cards have been drawn. back to top of page Loading the game Open the website and login using your username and password you registered when signing up. You will then be taken to a screen displaying your account information. On the left side of this screen you will see an image / button displaying the text “Play Now”, Click this button and the Game Lobby will appear in a new window. More information about the Game Lobby. When you are in the Game Lobby you can select to play “Punto Banco Baccarat” from the “Live Casino Games” section. Once you have clicked on the link to load Punto Banco Baccarat the window will redirect you to the Game. You will then be shown a progress bar displaying the amount the game has loaded. When it is 100% loaded the game will be displayed. back to top of page Game rules Picture cards and tens count as 0; Aces count as 1, and all other cards count as face value. If required, a third card is dealt to each hand according to specific rules outlined in the chart below. If the point value of the first two cards drawn for either hand is 8 or 9, that is known as a "Natural" and no additional cards will be drawn. Hands don't ever exceed 9 (bust), because the first digit of a two-digit number is always dropped. For example, if 5 and 7 are drawn for a total of 12, the count is 2. The hand with the highest point total closest to nine wins. Winning "Player" bets are paid even money. "Banker" winning bets are paid at the odds of 19/20. If both hands result in identical totals, the "Tie" bet wins, paying 8 to 1 (chips are placed on the "Tie" section of the table). When a "Tie" occurs, all bets on the "Player" and the "Banker" are neither paid nor taken. Drawing Rules for the Player. If the player's first two cards (initial draw) total… The player... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 0 . draws. 6, 7. Stand 8, 9. Stands (Natural) Drawing Rules for the Banker . If the banker's first two cards (initial draw) total… Banker Draws When Player's Third Card is: Banker Does NOT Draw When the Player's Third Card is: 0, 1, 2. Banker must always draw on 0, 1, 2. - 3. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,0. 8 4 2,3,4,5,6,7. 1,8,9,0. 5. 4,5,6,7. 1,2,3,8,9,0. 6. 6,7. 1,2,3,4,5,8,9,0. 7. - Stand 8 - 9 - Stand (Natural) When the player stands on 6 or 7, the Banker must draw on totals of 0,1,2,3,4, and 5, and stand on 6,7,8 and 9. The Banker must draw on totals of 0,1 or 2, then observe the rules for Banker. There are no optional draws. Placing bets To place bets on the table move your mouse to the amount you wish to play with (The “chips” are located at the bottom of the table) and left click your mouse. This will highlight the amount you wish to play with. After you have selected the amount you wish to play there are three (3) betting sections you can use to play with. The options you can play with are as follows: • Player • Tie • Banker Hover the mouse over any of the 3 betting sections for more information (an informative popup text will appear). Move the mouse to the position on the table where you wish to place a bet and click (There will now be a chip on the table in the position you placed it). If the position is a valid position a small rectangle will pop-up and display the name of the position. Also notice that the small rectangle which used to display the name of the position now displays the name of the position and the value placed on that position. If you wish to select a different chip, move the mouse to the edge of the table, place it over the chip you wish to pickup and click the left mouse button. The old chip you were holding will disappear and be replaced by the new chip you just selected. If you place more than one chip on a particular position the chips may change value or reorder themselves. These chips still represent the same value they have just changed to the least amount of chips to represent the value or they have changed to maintain the order of "largest chip on the bottom, smallest on the top". Removing bets If you wish to remove chips from the table simply “right-click” the area you wish to remove chips from. (This will remove the chips starting with the lowest amount.) To remove a stack of chips press and hold left mouse button and drag the chips outside the bet ting area and then release the left mouse button. Please note by doing this the credit meter also gets updated. Moving bets To move chips between betting positions you must place the mouse cursor over the chips you wish to move. Press and hold the left mouse button. Drag the chips to the new position, and then release the left mouse button. The chips will now be placed in the new position. After you have completed this step a small rectangular popup will appear with the new locations position on the table and the amount you have moved. back to top of page Understanding the game The layout of the Punto Banco Baccarat window consists of a few main features. The most obvious and most important is the layout of the table. The Punto Banco Baccarat Table is the same one you would find in any casino. The table positions are the same and bets may be made in the same way. If you are unsure of the name of the position, hover your mouse cursor over a position and informative text about the position will appear. In Live Punto Banco at the top right of the game screen there is a live video from inside the casino. This is the same table you will be placing your bets on via the Internet. Along the edge of the table closest to you are 4 chips $1, $5, $25 and $100. These are the chips you use to make your bets. If you are unsure of the value of a chip, place your mouse over the chip and the value will appear in a small box. Live Punto Banco Baccarat Buttons After you have placed a bet the CLEAR button appears, and at the end of the game if you win, 2 buttons will appear. They are labelled CLEAR and REBET. And if a player looses, only REBET button appears. Auto Punto Banco Baccarat Buttons When you place your bets in the Auto Punto Banco Baccarat you are displayed with CLEAR and DEAL buttons. At the end of the game if you have won the round 3 buttons will be displayed on the screen CLEAR, DEAL & REBET. (if all of your bets are lost the only button which appears is REBET, after placing your bets on the table the DEAL button will appear). There are three labels at the top of the screen. From left to right they are: "CREDITS" - the amount of credits you currently have in your account, "LAST WIN" - if you won on the last game the total amount you won will be displayed here, and "BET" - the amount in chips you currently have on the table. Just underneath the Live Video is a label “Game Number”.. This label shows the number of the current open game (This feature is only present in the Live Punto Banco Baccarat). Each game has a unique number which increments as each new game starts. The current open game is the game your bets will be placed on. Shuffling will occur after the cutting card has been drawn from the card shoe, this is placed 7 cards from the end of the six decks placed in the card shoe. There is 6 Decks in both the Auto and normal version of Punto Banco Baccarat. Menu Bar Open the link (below) for more information on the Menu Bar; General Guide for Gaming back to top of page Live video and sound (Only available in "Live Games") The live video is automatically enabled in all "Live" games, if you prefer not to view the live video or would like to disable the sound there are options in the bottom right corner of the live video section to do this ie. (From the left side) The first button is “Stop”; this will stop the Live Video Feed from coming to your Computer. You will still be able to play/continue the game you are playing when this button is pressed. The second button is “Pause”; the pause button is used to pause (suspend) the video feed while playing (Please note this will not pause the game you are playing in). The third button is “Sound”; the sound button will disable the sound coming from the Live Video (when this button is pressed a red forward slash will be visible on the sound icon). The last icon is used to undock the video feed from the Game Table, you can then move the Live Video Window anywhere on your desktop. On the left side of the video feed window there is a box displaying the last ten results.
